1934 Model B Ford Pickup

Ford 201cid Inline 4-cylinder engine
Three speed manual transmissin.

We are pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1934 Ford Model B Pickup.

Retaining its steel body, this very rare B was restored and hand-built to its current glory from the ground up several years ago. Made even more rare due to the fact there were very few 4 cylinder Bs produced in their last production year of 1934.

The Ford Model B was a model produced from 1932 to 1934 before the 1935 Model 48 replaced it. The Model B essentially was an improved version of the Model A, Edsel Fords well-received update to his fathers 1908 to 1927 Model T.

Although overshadowed by the V-8s, the Model B was a practical vehicle. The compression ratio was remarkably low at just 4.6-to-1 to develop 50 horsepower. The axle was a three-quarter floating type with a spiral bevel differential and 3.77-to-1 final gear ratio. The suspension consisted of transverse leaf springs while the stopping power came from all-wheel internal expanding mechanical brakes.

Finished in a deep hue of Burgundy, with glossy black fenders and running boards, this truck shows brilliantly.

This all steel body pickup shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. The hand painted tan pinstripe tastefully adds a contrast throughout the body. The same tan paint was used to paint the grill and wire wheels. The passenger side mounted spare matched the other four wheels and tires. All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear with a bright finish. The front chrome bumper with accent red stripe is extremely tight and finish is exquisite. Even the bed received a fresh oak treatment! The freshly painted 17-inch wire-wheels present well.

The interior features a newer black vinyl bench seat that looks great. The matching door panels and headliner with black dashboard are a continuation of the striking exterior of the truck and looks fantastic. The original equipped three spoke steering wheel is in great condition with only a very small crack visible.

This no expense spared built 34 pickup is nicely equipped with a 1 barrel carburetor,

201cid Ford Inline 4-cylinder engine, three speed manual transmission, spiral bevel rear differential, four wheel mechanical brakes. 17-inch Ford wire wheels painted tan to match the tan pinstripe with Firestone wide whitewalls on all five rims.

Its impossible to mention the all-time classic pickup models and not included the 1934 Ford pickup. The builder of this particular Model B thought the whole design through, from the elegant Burgundy exterior to the 1934 Ohio truck license plate!, all work together to make this one of the most beautiful 34 pickups weve ever seen! GET OUT AND DRIVE!

Current mileage on the odometer shows 98,911 miles, sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.
