This 1955 Ford F-100 is an awesome kind of custom pickup that takes the classic lines, and adds bold style, a comfy A/C interior, and plenty of V8 power. So dig into the details, because this is the total package.
Red is a great way to get noticed, and quite frankly, is there any better way to add a little performance flair to a classic? How about adding pinstripe flames in the doors. Also, the deleted bumpers, deleted trim, LED headlights, fog lamps behind the grille, aerodynamic tonneau over the truck bed, and large dual exhaust tips all enhance this attitude. And the bright Pacer wheels with a forward-leaning stance really drives home a bolder pickup feeling. But this Ford never trades in its full vintage grace for modern stylishness. The classic truck feeling is in the details like the mirrors and step plates. Plus, there's history in the way the curvy fenders make you think about the generations before you who have touched this steel. And because the full presentation is done to be a pickup you can easily drive, you get to continue its legacy.
The custom feeling continues inside. The gray velour seat is plusher than anything that came out of the 1950s, and the center console gives you an individual level of space. Newer carpeting, good door panels, and a smooth dash all makes this a nice place to spend some time. Plus, there are comfortable features, like an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, cruise control, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. You also can feel this one was built for driving with features such as a grippy sports steering wheel, a tilt column, Lokar floor shifter, and a full upgraded gauge package, including tach.
The forward-tilt hood is a sporty way to show off the 302 cubic inch V8 upgrade. It's always great to see a Ford powerhouse in a classic Ford, and this one has some nice flair, including the polished Ford Racing cast valve covers. But what you'll love best is that this motor inhales deeply through an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Weiand intake. And the Thrush mufflers on the dual exhaust help give it a confident tune. It's a strong V8, and so they also made it easy to drive. That's why you have a Mustang II-style independent front end, power steering, a three speed automatic transmission, and power brakes w/discs up front.
Complete with maintenance records and service manuals, this custom build combines classic looks, modern conveniences, and V8 power. That makes for a total package you'll want to be cruising this weekend. Call today!!!
