Numbers matching with original build sheet, PHS Docs and the WS6 package!!!
This Trans Am has had one repaint to its original color of Starlight Black over the original body panels that are rust/damage free and shows extremely well.
When you open the door, youll notice the fact that a complete new interior package was installed during the restoration using the Hobnail Camel which is correct for this vehicle. You will also quickly notice the crystal clear rally gauges. Attention to detail is apparent though out this Trans Am.
The engine compartment supports the 403 engine that is original to the car. You know it is really nice to see an unmolested engine and engine compartment that remains as when it rolled off the assembly line in 1979. It is as neat and tidy as the rest of the car.
Backed up to the 403 engine is the bullet proof 350 automatic three speed transmission and of course the famous safe t track limited slip rear end.
This Trans Am is a heavily optioned car but the one option that made an already great handling car even better was the WS6 package. The WS6 package consisted of 4 wheel disc brakes, heavier front end, rear sway bars, closed ratio steering box and 8 wide wheels.
The underside of the car is neat and tidy as well. The original trunk and floor pans are still intact and rust free. Overall the car shows extremely well and is in excellent condition. It is a pleasure to drive.
With the new design of the Trans Am for 1979, it will always be sought after and collectable.
