When it comes to paying close attention to detail, you wont find many like this classic 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air. This hardtop classic Chevy has undergone a complete frame off restoration and has hardly been driven since. It is truly one of the nicest 58 Bel Airs around. The car is coated in a beautiful 58 anniversary gold which looks amazing next to the perfect chrome bumpers and stainless trim. The body was smoothed and sanded to perfect making for a perfect looking paint job. It was acid dipped and received an epoxy primer prior to the paint. The finish on the paint is a testament to how well the body was prepped because the car not only won its class in February of 2024 at Dallas Autorama it also received the outstanding paint award. The car has a great stance and sits on new Ridler 17\" wheels . It is coated in new rubber which has no wear (215/55 front, 245/50 rear). The tinted glass has zero scratches and is the perfect level of tint.
The professionally built 348 V8 engine has plenty of power and just like the rest of the car was completely rebuilt. It is bored .30 over and with a slight cam and roller rockers will cruise the highway and give you plenty of power through town. The engine has been balanced to maximize performance. It has a new intake topped with a 3 deuce set up with progressive linkage. The Chevrolet finned valve covers look great along with just the right amount of other chrome and polished aluminum parts. It has a heavy duty radiator to keep the car running cool at all times. It has all new exhaust system by Kinney\'s with Flow Pro mufflers and it sounds amazing. The turbo 400 automatic transmission shifts smoothly and was also completely rebuilt. The original rear-end is also completely rebuilt with 3:55 gears. When it comes to stopping the chrome power brake booster is sure to slow you down with ease (disc-front, drum-rear). The power steering makes driving so easy you will never want to stop driving. It has a new red top Optima battery that has been relocated to the trunk.
From the seats to the dash you would think the entire interior was just rolled out of the factory in \'58. The gold interior has been entirely redone and is very comfortable. The upholstery looks like it was just completed. The dash is mostly original and an AM/FM/IPOD stereo installed in the original opening to avoid cutting up the dash. The new Old Air air conditioner blows cold with under dash vents installed. It has also been updated with matching seat belts and has a very cool 15 inch diameter 2 tone steering wheel.
