This is a recently completed body-off restoration. Restored to factory specification and generally factory appearances or above original factory standards. Documentation for factory equipment from original build sheet. This has always been a Northwest car by all previous owners.
Comes with a copy of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) VIN 194370S410981, GM official Production date was 6/3/1970 and also comes with Appraisal by Corvette and High-Performance Inc of Olympia WA replacement cost $100,000.00. Signed by Larry W. Johnson, President of CHP.
The gorges paint (993) Bronze is adorned by original front and rear bumper that have been rechromed and polished to a high luster. Front grilles have been rechromed. All rocker moldings and stainless are new and polished. The body has NO existing damage or evidence of repairs. There are NO body modifications. The fit and finish is excellent. All panel fitment meets or exceeds factory standards or better.
The interior is in excellent condition and appear factory throughout note this is GM custom interior trim. New correct reproduction carpets and door panels. Seats covers have been upgraded to 100% leather with correct pattern and new seat foam. All new seals including doors. The new Glass includes windshield and left and right door glass. The rear window is original and in excellent condition.
The cockpit instruments and controls are the 160 MPH speedometer and 7000 RPM tachometer are clean and bright. The center dash houses the wiper and washer controls, clock, temperature, fuel, battery, oil pressure gauges. Plus has Door ajar warning, headlamp position indicator, seat belts light, and AM/FM radio. The center console has the front monitor lamps light, rear monitor lamps light, ash try and lighter, vent controls passenger and drivers\' side, Heater and A/C controls. Under the dash is the hood release, odometer trip reset, headlamp reset, headlamp cover, wiper override, and wiper cover control. The correct 454ci is highly detailed with factory tags and labels. The stamped numbers on engine are correct factory installed block. The 454 has been completely rebuilt. The Turbo 400 transmission rebuilt along with differential and drive train. All factory markings have been placed on drive train and suspension. There are NO obvious fluid leaks. A complete suspension restoration. Cooling system, and brakes system have all been restored.
