4610 Pet Lane
The 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger is known for packing plenty of power into a compact, lightweight body. This coupe takes that history and turns it all up a notch with a great blackout style, upgraded A/C interior, four-on-the-floor, and a 340 V8 with an iconic Six-Pack on top.
This coupe instantly commands attention. The trim tag tells us this was born a desirable TX9 code black hardtop, and this has gone through a restoration/transformation over the last six years that has added plenty of mean to this dark machine. So you not only have a glossy application of the sleek black, but the matte black decal on the hood really gives it some aggressive distinction. And the iconic bumblebee rear racing stripe is painted on in a high-contrast white. The dual hood scoops with 340 callouts, hood pins, and large dual exhaust tips are all part of the intimidating package. But don't forget to recognize the quality, too. A well-restored car like this means you also have clean lines, a straight body, and great-looking chrome bumpers that know how to hug this car's form.
The dark attitude continues inside for this factory all-black car. The seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner, and everything else looks quite correct, but it feels fresh from a recent investment. Even the dome light works. And the cold-blowing air conditioning was recently added so that you can stay cool even when driving around in the summer with all the windows rolled down on this hardtop. Plus, you're going to notice plenty of great upgrades for the driver. The Tuff-style steering wheel now has a grippy wood rim, there's a full set of auxiliary readouts, and the column-mounted tach goes great with the floor shifter.
When you pop the hood, you'll find out that those callouts on the hood scoops didn't lie. It's a big 340 cubic-inch V8 powering this Dart. This was born with the desirable displacement, but this is an updated and upgraded motor.... and the big orange air grabber announces this is a powerful package. This has the triple set of dual-barrel carburetors sitting on top of an Edelbrock intake to deliver the strong Six Pack setup. The motor fires up readily as it makes a nice rumble out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. And you have full control over the power and its high octane soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission. This also has a rebuilt rear end, front disc brakes, and wide BF Goodrich T/As to keep it feeling solid on the road.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance records, and build receipts. With a mean style, enhanced V8 heart, and a comfortable A/C interior, you also know this classic Mopar is the true total package. Don't miss out, call today!
