DESCRIPTION

This 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible has a cool classic style that gives it some fun cruiser upgrades, like a distinct color combo and some added V8 power. That\'s how you get an attractive and cruiser-ready drop-top icon.

Red always has appeal on convertibles, and it gets even better when it has a good gloss from an upgrade later in life. And while most convertibles look best with the top down, we can\'t help but be attracted to the way the white roof goes so well with the rocker triple stripe. Plus, details like the dual exhaust tips through the rear valance and Mustang\'s styled steel wheels made the whole package quite sporty. And the idea of a good classic driver is competed by the quality fundamentals, like the good body lines and bright chrome bumpers.

With a flip of a switch, the top powers down to reveal the red and white two-tone interior. So this offers a well-coordinated color combo with the roof up or down. Plus, it has a premium style with the deluxe door panels and premium \"pony\" package on the seats. Just like the exterior, this interior is also a true cruiser total package - the kind where it\'s easy to hop in and hit the road on a whim. After all, this speaks to your driver\'s heart with front bucket seats, a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, and auxiliary readouts under the dash. And the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer means upgraded driving music for everywhere you roam.

Under the hood, the polished finned valve covers and the callout on the air grabber signal a nice investment. This is a first-year Mustang, and they would have to wait a little longer to get a 302 cubic-inch V8. Not only does this have the extra displacement, but there\'s also an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers. There are nice supporting components like a newer distributor, newer wires, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. This kind of well-kept style also means a strong running V8 that makes a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. And the three-speed automatic transmission and newer Michelin tires make it easy to hit the road.

This first-year pony car drop-top has a terrific sense of style where the investments make it more fun to drive and show off. And it never takes anything so seriously that it would keep you from taking a trip on a whim. That\'s what makes a great cruising classic. Call today!!!
