DESCRIPTION
Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos, information and a video. In 1948 curved body lines and tons of chrome were the name of the game. It didn't get much better than the Chevrolet Fleetmaster! This street rod coupe is loaded up and ready to cruise in style. With a Mustang II front end, power front disc brakes, A/C, leather interior, tilt and AM/FM/CD you will not miss your daily driver! The exterior is painted in a very deep high gloss black paint that pairs nicely with the chrome trim. A visor has been added along with blue dot taillights and fender skirts to give this street rod a very refined and period correct look. Under the hood rumbles a crate 350 engine with a Holley air cleaner on top of an Edelbrock carburetor. Edelbrock valve covers help dress up the V8 along with a chrome alternator, polished A/C compressor, chrome spark plug wire looms, polished upper radiator hose and a billet radiator overflow. An aluminum radiator keeps it cool with the help of an aluminum fan shroud. The engine is backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that sends power to a Chevy 10-bolt rear end. The interior is plush and stylish with pleated leather split bench seat, tilt steering column, classic white face Auto Meter gauges in a billet bezel, and very slick Vintage Air setup. The A/C and AM/FM/CD player are mounted below the dash but look like it could have come from the factory that way. It is streamlined and has billet controls and vents that blend in perfectly. The door panels, rear panels and seat base are custom upholstered to match the seats. The trunk is also nicely upholstered and houses the relocated battery. You will be proud to open the trunk and show it off at car shows! This vehicle is eligible for an Extended Service Contract through Classic Vehicle Protection.
