DESCRIPTION

According to this classic Mustang\'s VIN and date plate numbers, this stunning 1964 Ford Mustang convertible was manufactured on July 29, 1964, making it a very late 1964 model year car. The 1965 model year production started in mid-August of 1964. Born a factory red convertible, this rare early Mustang has received a high-quality, complete restoration and was upgraded with a comprehensive GT makeover. Some of the GT upgrades include grill bar with fog lamps, dual trumpeted exhaust tips mounted through the rear valance and power front disc brakes. The mirror-gloss red paint and gleaming chrome look fantastic, as do the crisp-looking factory style 14-inch chrome Styled wheels with correct trim rings and red logo center caps.

The interior features attractive two-tone red and white deluxe \"Pony\" seat upholstery with color coordinated door panels. Other interior upgrades include a retro Mustang logo AM/FM/cassette stereo with rear speakers, console, custom armrest with dual cup holders, Mustang logo seatbelts front and rear, and the super-cool and desirable column-mounted Rally Pac tachometer and clock upgrade.

The engine bay is highly detailed with power steering, chrome Monte Carlo bar, chrome strut tower brace, chrome Ford Racing valve covers and open element air cleaner as well as a chrome oil pan.
