Look at that chrome,its in amazing shape.Today they make plastic chrome.I think they should stop production of new cars and restore old cars and sell them insted.Then they should crush new cars and use the metal (if any, lol) to make parts for classic cars.
My brother had a '54 Merc Sun Valley with the glass roof. We pulled it out of a junkyard in 1969. It had a blown motor and we got the car for $25. The body was rock solid and we put a 312 and standard trans in it. It ran great and he took it to college. It sat behind our barn for a few years after college and my dad had it crushed. It chokes me up to think about it.
