1957 Mercury
looks like somebody bumped into the garage door
It got sad. Thats what happened
what happened to the headlights
My brother had a '54 Merc Sun Valley with the glass roof. We pulled it out of a junkyard in 1969. It had a blown motor and we got the car for $25. The body was rock solid and we put a 312 and standard trans in it. It ran great and he took it to college. It sat behind our barn for a few years after college and my dad had it crushed. It chokes me up to think about it.
car looks pissed!
unvelivable check the badge mecury: is stil on
That's a nice looking Merc!
never cared for late 50's mercs. very odd design bordering on ugly!
hey a couple of fenders and a little spit and polish....and away you go!
Cool.............
I WANT THIS MERC....JUST NEEDS A CHEVY MOTOR.
Yeah the late 50s to early 60s mercs weren't much for styling. But the 54-56 2 door hardtops - now they were sweet!
ooh it's a 2-door too! man, I'd love to have this car. Butt ugly are not, I think they just rule!
Why you get done you still have a 57 butt ugly Mercury!
man this car would be a great restoration some body needs to pull there head out of ther --- and fix this up
there are thousands of these cars .i have seen them in alleys in Camden NJ and fields in the mid west.get out ,drive around, they are out there.
Cars pictured in Rusty Rides are not for sale. Rusty Rides serves as a tribute to classic vehicles left to rust away in barns, fields, yards, and along roads.
Look at that chrome, its in amazing shape.Today they make plastic chrome.I think they should stop production of new cars and restore old cars and sell them insted. Then they should crush new cars and use the metal (if any, lol) to make parts for classic cars.
