1961 Chevy Impala - Bel Air Bubbletop

Luckily for this '61 Chevrolet Bubbletop it has been pickuped and saved, after it was found sitting in a field for sale in Missouri.

when i was in college in the 60's I had an impala just like this one. I had a 400 Pontiac engine in it. I have no idea how fast it would go. I lost my nerve around 110 and it was still pulling. My dad had it crushed in the 70's

I'll take a '61 2 door sedan overe a bubble any day. They are a lot rarer and real cool looking.

nice to see one up on blocks for once instead of rotting into the ground.
