the engine code is T1023DK showing the engine to be a 1963 283 with a 2 barrell carb do I need to look at the 1963 vin codes as well since it was probably built in nov or Dec 1963 can you point me to the site that would show that info

DATA PLATE ON FIREWALL WILL SHOW WHERE YOUR CAR WAS BUILT THE BODY NUMBER HAS A LETTER IN FRONT .THE LETTER TELLS WHICH PLANT PRODUCED THE CAR .IF NOT AN O LET MEKNOWTHE ONE IT IS AND WILL TELL YOU WHERE BUILT.
