I'm sorry 23dodges10. I thank you also for your help. Maybe I'll just drop a 396 in her someday. But I'm still undecided..400TH, or 4 speed Muncie. Personally I'm kind of leaning to the rockcrusher.

460777 = 305 cu. 1976-1979 2 bolt main

Here are all the stamps I could find. 460777, L 4 78, T20, 1 CONV. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Look on the back of the block. On the oil filter up on top of the block were the head bolts to the block you well see about 8 or 10 numbers give them to me. The numbers are rt by were the oil sending unit is. If its in the car it might be hard to see, clean it good with some solvent sparyed on a towel.
