66 SS Impala did not have a SS ID on the insterments buti did have a Super Sport emblem on the glovebox door on the dash
the impala ss will have bucket seats, consule, allvintl trim. front fender name plates grille bar with ss, badge on deck lid, 3 bar wheelcovers and ss id on the instrument panel. according to STANDARD CATALOGE OF AMERICAN CARS 1946-1975.
