Are there any classic car shows in Washington state?
Or does anyone have information of ones that they have been to that are worth going?
Thanks for your help. Looking for a couple of good road trips this year.

MECUM has good auctions/car shows.
I mentioned auctions because it doubles as a car show and if you have the bucks you can get a ride home.

There are several in the Washington area, of course most of them are in scattered throughout spring and summer into early autumn, but they are out there, you just have to look! There is the Greenwood Classic Car and Hot Rod Show, June 23rd from about 10 a.m. to 4p.m. on Greenwood Ave. a one day event with music, food/vendors as well as several different car categories to enter into. There is the Shake The Shack Car Show at The Shanty Tavern on Lake City Way, this past one was in September, it coincides with the Rockabilly Ball at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard. Kustom and Classics Hotrod and Chopper Show in Georgetown Seattle, every August I believe. Every Father's Day there is The Blessing of the Cars at Carkeek Park, this one is put on by the local Rooks C.C. There are several more shows outside of Seattle in Eastern Washington and down in Puyallup too, check out this website for shows coming up in the next few months!

Dear Harty6 - If you are still looking for events, I suggest you come to Winthrop, Washington on September 12-14 for our 33rd Annual Winthrop Auto Rallye. Registration is on the 12th. On the 13th we have a pre-parade continental breakfast, a parade through our small and friendly western theme town, a show and shine (with judging by a very knowledgeable staff), and a fun bucket run through the beautiful Methow Valley. In the evening is a toe-tapping, knee-slapping cowboy jamboree (we are, after all, a western town)!
I just asked to have our event posted here on oldride and you can take a look under Major Events on our Winthrop Chamber of Commerce web page: www.winthropwashington.com.
Thanks! Kathryn Joy Heim (Winthrop Chamber of Commerce Event Director)
