I just took a few pic of #s on side of moter hoping these would tell the size & year runs very good can u help me with this my email is [email protected] I did find 1 place that said it was a 230 or 250 but would like to know for sure size & year thanks in advance for any help u can give me with this larry

Chevrolet had three different 6 cylinders that year. They were 230, 250, & 292 The serial #'s should be displayed near the distributor on the block. If you have that number the local dealership parts will verify what engine you have.
