I need to convert the old drum brakes on 1969 firebird to disk brakes. Front and rear.
Is this the best way or is there another? http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3148A0A0A1787173.aspx
And the sprint motor is going in with it eventually. maybe something around 350 horse if i decide. are these brakes strong enough?

There is an outfit called Scarebird Classic Brakes www.scarebird.com that have disc brake conversions for many classics. Don't know if it's what you are looking for but might be something to check into.

1969-74 all GM cars used the improved design single piston caliper.
All brake conversions use the single piston caliper and will fit all the 1964-72 GM A-Body cars.
This includes: 1964-72 GTO, LeMans, Tempest, Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Skylark, Gran Sport, Cutlass, 442 and F-85. These kits will also fit all 1967-69 F-Body and 1968-74 X-Body cars. This includes Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am, Nova, Ventura, Apollo and Omega.
