I own a 1971 Chevy Cheyenne with a 350 Automatic in it. I have had problems with the carter pin breaking off of the fork attached to the transmission which allows the washer and spring to come loose, therefore disabling my linkage. I am going to purchase an aftermarket linkage set and my grandpa purchased one on ebay, but I'm having doubts as to if it will actually work. I will enclose a picture of the aftermarket set that was purchased. I hope that someone out there has maybe redone theirs too and will be able to shoot me some advice. Thanks so much!
