'64 and '65 Rancheros are my favorite, otherwise 'l camino was better.

The Elk has it hands down! The lines are so much more appealing than the boxy Ranch.

I am the proud owner of a 1979 El Camino and I can tell you that it is a far better car than the Ranchero. My best friend has a Ranchero and he is very envious of my car which is a one owner and has less than 60K on her. My car has the factory 305 with a four barrel and was ordered that way. I have all the build sheets and original paperwork that came with the car when my Dad ordered it in 1979.

I am partial to the 59 Elcamino's, a buddy of mine is restoring one now. their is a pretty cool mid-60's ranchero which runs around town here, has the fake wood grain panels.

El Camino all the way. I'm especially partial to the first generation (1959-1960)
