My 66 Tempest has manual drum brakes. I'm trying to do a brake swap and upgrade it to power discs from a 66 GTO, or Lemans. I love driving my Tempest, just hate braking. I've seen the kits you buy brand new, just trying to do this on a budget. Thanks for any help

67 was firdt year tempest offered disc brakes. the drum brake cars used different spindles between 66 and 67 .they might bolt in place but alignment could be a problem .67to 70 tempest,70 grand prix and 67to 69 firebird disc brake spindles are same and might fit but cannot say for sure.
