I would greatly appreciate your help with the following serial numbers from 4 components on a 1957 Bel Air convertible. I am trying to verify the vintage of these components. VIN VC57N227385 1) block casting number F712FC 2) Rear end 37258899 3) Transmission 3708134 GM 13 B77 4) Bell housing 3719243 GM 17 687 The car in question is being advertised a having matching numbers, so is quite expensive. Naturally I don't wish to pay matching numbers price if they aren't matching. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Joe
