I have a white wire coming out of coil that is not connected to anything. There is a wire in instrument cluster pin 17 white. Do not see or know were the tach filter is.

the tach in this car is not working . have white wire comingv out of coil . that does not connect to eny thing. wire at inst clstr hase no signal to it .in wiring diagram shows a tach filter . were is this at ? and where con i get one?
