I have a '65 comet that is missing the rod from the clutch pedal to the "z-bar", the "z-bar", and the "z-bar" to throw out arm rod. The car was converted to a 302 with C-4 automatic in it's past and I want to bring it back with a 289 and a 3-speed overdrive but the parts I'm missing seem to be pretty hard to find when you just search for them by the comet application.

If you have a local parts yard ( junk yard) close most of them are set up on an, i think it is called an eden system .Where they can do a parts interchange on just about any part. My uncle has this system and has done alot of interchange for me. Hope this helps.
In order to be 100% sure you would have to fit the parts or hold them side by side, but I think the Fairlane or Mustangs would be similar.
