What would be a good cam choice also? My 292 will go in a 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton truck, 4.10 gears, turbo 400 trans. The carb is a vari jet that's 395 CFM and a split exhaust manifold. My truck is my do all machine if it helps.

i have used this combination before the 250 head dose not have the water holes between the cylinders ,that the 292 dose could cause overheating..car was good for a short race ,but had other problems with engine.was also bored .060 oversize.the intergrated heads were pron to cracking for some reason.
