Can anyone provide info on an engine rebuild?
I am currently finishing a restore of a 61 Pontiac Bonneville Vista that belonged to my late father in-law. Prior to his passing, he started a complete restore. His wife has asked me to complete the project, but I have run into a road block. The engine block had been rebuilt, but is not completely re-assembled. I am trying to find a diagram that might show the bracket for the generator. I have everything back on the block, and cannot find a way to bolt the generator on. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

1961 and 1962 are almost identical. Click on the thumbnails, one is pictured with AC brackets, the other without. Hope it helps you out and be sure to post some photos, I love 61 bubbletops!

That diagram broke the code! Thanks. I have been searching for four weeks trying to figure that out. There is another issue that has me stumped though. He had added an AC/Heater unit to the car. The compressor is under the hood, and I still have to research where it would be attached. I did find a claw bracket for the comp, but no where to bolt it. However, right now I'm just trying to get the engine in and get it started. I'll be sure to post some pics of the progress.
