Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to take the guts of a Datsun 240z and put them into a Datsun 280z. I love the look of the 280z yet the 240z is way easier to work on due to the fact that it uses older technology such as it uses carburetors instead of a fuel pump. My research shows that the Datsun 240z is nearly the same as the 280z except for the fact that the 280z is fuel injected and a smidge heavier. I was just wondering if the guts, such as the engine & transmission, were interchangeable between the two cars.
