1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2-dr. Town Sedan; fully restored original car w-orig Title & Plates; a real Lucky find for this "Old Man" living dreams of the past; only mod is 12-volt conversion; orig 17 x 3.62 wheels (can't find bkspace info) on 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern with original 5.25-50x17 (29.02 height) bias tires. Want to roll on some new 15 x 6.0 (3.75 bkspace) artillery wheels matched with 225/75R15 (28.3 height) x 8.8) tires (requires 6.0 wide wheel). Since car has orig 4.11 rear end, trying to stay with near same in height to keep rear end ration from revving too many rpm at 50-60 mph max. driving speed. Hoping for some experienced input as to whether the difference in width from 3.62 to 6.00 wheels will work without problems with steering and clearance.
