Not saying Ford didn't make the 8 cars you refer to, but I would like to see your source(s) for the information. I do remember there were aftermarket kits (not Ford) offered to convert the "old and outdated" single headlight '57 to the "new and improved" 4 headlight system offered on the '58 Fords. Attractive, they weren't.
