2 wing windows are cracked in a 2dr. 51 chev is this something for D.I.Y. to try, or a professional?

I've seen some places want to sell a whole flat glass "group" for a paticular car. Would this be the way to go if repacing the wing wdo's? ,or would you be inviting the chance to break much more than your fixing? I asume to do all the glass you would have to take the door panels, door handles, and wdo cranks off. Any advice or good resource on these procedures? It would be nice to put grease or oil on the raise / lower gear to have the wdo's work "smoother".

Not a big project you just have to tke your time. Take trim off, handles and the door panel should pull off. and your in do what you have to do and replace everything.
New glass can be cut at any windshield place. I did all mine last winter is was not that hard and while your in there might as well replace window felt which can be purchased at Steel Prod.
