I came across a add for some disc brake parts to a 67,68,69, camero .It has all partss need to change over but add said will work for 67,68,69 fire birds and 68,69,70,71,72 nova I was wondering if these would work or not on 69 chevelle. Rotors and pads are brand new has used spindles and backing plates and dust shields with steering arms. Also the master cylinder and vac. Booster, and what looks to be a proportioning valve. He’s asking 375.00 for all. I know full kits are about 700 plus. dose any one have some specks on the parts exchange ability or where I could look for good information. Thank you all.

Ahhh- but the pitman (for want of a better name) unbolts from your drum brake backing plate and spindle. Then bolt it on the disc brake spindle and backing plate. Then it works..... Bit of trivia--- spindles are interchangeable left to right also...

They wont because the pitman arm on a chevelle is in the front and a camaro, nova, firebird is in the back. You can always find a disk brake conv for a chevelle, monte carlo,el camino,at the swap meets at a good deal.
