One other possibility is that you have a bad bulb making intermittent contact. this can change in warm weather as the metal expands and contracts. Is it on one side or both? Try cleaning the contacts on the bulbs (this can be done with an erasier if you don't have contact cleaner.

if 4 way flashers are normal ,try switching blinker relay boxes to test circuits.
