When you hit the gas, it bogs down, then accelerates. Have rebuilt the carb, new power valve, accelerator pump, etc

Check the fuel pressure,incorrect timing,a vacumn advance that is not working.
Those are 3 things to do that won't cost you anything except a little time.
rebuld the carb and put a new fuel pump on it and check gas lines for leaks
