I checked the book and it says the same as I stated before. The torque is the two middle 25-35 ft. lbs. tighten the four other to 15-20 ft. llbs.

I don't think you ever can get in trouble if you always start in the center and work out. If the bolts are quite unevenly spaced. Make a circle starting in the center and working outward. When you take apart an engine you should remove the bolts or nuts starting from the outside and work in.
