I would like to add a factory Style tach to an original dash in my 1963 ss. The tach I have purchased looks like it requires the dash to be cut to accept the back of the gauge. Is there any trick? Should I be concered about what is in the dash behind where the cut must be made? I know what it looks like installed but...... Does anyone have a picture or diagram of a dash with the tach removed?
