There are three 12ā€ sleeve covered bolts mounted into the bed on each side of my '55 Dodge?
I recently purchased a 1955 Dodge C3 pickup that was last licensed in 1972, the truck has an old decal that was for Civil Defense, it has been pasture cured for a few decades.
What Iā€™m curious to know is the purpose of side mounts on each side where the spare tire mounts usually go, but no wheel well in the fenders. There are three 12ā€ sleeve covered bolts mounted into the bed on each side. Any ideas what they would be for? I have ordered a title history.
