it hasnt been run in about 2 years , the interior has dry-rotted,but the slant 6 cylinder ran great when last run except for an over heating problem, the body is pristine except for a few tiny pathces of rust. need to get it out of my yard and looking for the best option.
IS YOUR BELVEDERE A TWO DOOR HARDTOP, A TWO DOOR POST, A CONVERT., A WAGON, OR A FOUR DOOR. ALSO WHAT CITY ARE YOU IN, AND WHAT COLOR IS IT. TELL ME MORE. THANKS...YOYO.
Where are you located? A quick way to get it out of your yard is to ask a buddy who is into MoPars. If he isn't interested, he should be able to point you to someone who is. Know someone from a car club? Ask them
FIRST OF ALL, DON\'T SCRAP IT, IF THE FRONT END IS NICE SELL IT ALONG WITH THE DECK LID, BUMPERS, CHROME, WHAT EVER YOU CAN SAVE. IF ITS A TWO DOOR THATS EVEN BETTER.
What is the body, a 2dr or 4dr.? Allot of the parts interchange with other Plymouth models from that year, especially the front clip. Restorers are always looking for useful parts like fenders, hoods, grills, good bumper cores, etc.
I would only haul a hulk shell to a salvage yard. Do as suggested above and advertise it for sale.
I wouldnt crush it! I am sure someone could use some parts from it. The most you will get for it at the yard is about 150 dollars, plus you have the expense of hauling it in (gas, time, etc.). Advertise it for 200 dollars, they haul and you are money ahead...
I checked the NADA guide it says your car is worth between 3300 and 8000,you might think about e-bay or craigslist to get rid of it quick. good luck!!
