6 cyl 1 barrel 2 sets of #s on side of moter block, 3877178 ( 265 or 265 0r2s5) not sure hard for me to see. hoping some one out there can help me with this

The casting # was used on both the 230 and 250 cid engines .there is a flat spot by the dist that will give more info , it has stamped in numbers and letters. the 265 could be casting date but not sure .
