I am looking for any information I can get on the length of the axle on a 1970 Chevy Nova. I have a 12 bolt posi out of a 1968 SS Camaro. One axle seems to be longer and am having "tire rub" problems on one side. This is the first time I have been under this to do any work and it looks like everything we have measured says the left axle is 1/2 inch longer. Does anyone have specs on this or ran into this problem? Thanks, Boomer

Wasnt their a disc brake option for 68 Camaro's? Could these by chance be a bit longer?

I think standard axle length on the nova was right at 31 inches, the camaro axles were a slight bit shorter, maybe an inch or less. just to clarify, are you using your a nova carrier with the camaro axles or a camaro carrier with nova axles?? need a bit more clarification on the exact setup and in what type of car, nova or camaro?
