Do all, tune up, rebuild Carb., be sure timing is right, get rid of the points, convert your distributor to electronic and the original look or drop new Electronic distributor but keep old one. my 69 did same thing... Good Luck

has been known to be ignition system especially if you still are using original dist. with points check all points point gap coil coil wires hope this helps

Could be anything. A good tune-up. Maybe the accelerator pump is sticking in the carb. Rebuild the carb. Good luck! Mark

Have you checked out your air filter or spark plugs?
