I have purchased an original set of 5x7" Keystone Klassics and after mounting them with tires on the car ive found they dont fit well at all. they rub on the fender lip and overall stick out too far. it makes the car want to find every rut in the road while driving it. i want to keep my tires, but am looking for different rims. what backspacing should i get?

The easiest way to measure backspace is to put the wheel face down on the ground. Lay a straight edge across the rim of the wheel. Using a ruler or tape measure, determine the distance from the straight edge to the face of the flange mounting pad. This measurement is the wheel backspace. The offset is the distance from the face of the mounting flange to the true centerline of the wheel.
