I have an old f-100 truck and trying to figure out what year it is. I checked on the doors and could not find vin/serial nuber but did find in the glove box what appears to be the vin # with the model. Instead of a vin # it gives me a serial # of F11CK113508 with a model # of F113. If any one can help me with any information I would greatly appreciate even if the info that I have is not what I need

Most VIN #s are located on the rating plate (which very well could be inside your glove box). The number you provided is very similar to a VIN, but it looks like you are missing a symbol between the C and the K which will tell you what year it is. F11 = series C = engine ? = year produced K = assembly plant = Kansas City, Kansas last digits = consecutive production #
