i purchased a 1964 impala and i am trying to get it back to as original as possible. thanks, swis.

The HP rating of your 327 and the type of Transmission will determine what style of Carburetor was originally on your Impala. Here are the different variations:
- 250HP Auto or Manual Trans 327 used either a Carter #3697 or Rochester #24-313
- 300HP Automatic 327 used a Carter AFB #3721
- 300HP Manual Trans. 327 used a Carter AFB #3720
Do you have a 2bbl. or 4bbl. carb on the car? I would assume a stock 327 would come with a 2bbl. but I suppose it all depends. Let us know your carb type and we should be able to answer your question.
