Start by putting in a 10amp fuse, if it works, great, if not, try a 15amp, again if it works problem solved. If it blows a 15amp try a 20amp. If it blows a 20amp you may have a bigger problem that fuses. As suggested, you may have a wiring problem to the component which is blowing the fuse. The most common problem I have seen is a ground.

What component on the car does not function anymore due to the blown fuse? The majority of the fuses are AGA20 which are 20 amp. If you still have the old fuse, look on the little end caps for these letters such as AGA20, SFE20, AGA15 etc. and replace with the same one. If the fuse continues to blow, then you have a problem with that circuit that needs to be located and corrected.
