1964 Lincoln Continental

A new grille and parking lights that are recessed a little farther into the bumper are 2 differences in the 1964 Lincoln Continental. The classic style remained with only minor changes. A three inch increase in the wheelbase and the overall length gives more leg room and creates a wider entrance. Something new available on Continental models included a tilting steering wheel and individually adjustable bucket seats with full center console. The Turbo-drive automatic transmission and 430 cu. in V8 engine was still a staple among Continentals however heavier rear axle gears with a 2.89 ratio standard and 3.11 mountain ratio were now optional.
