| The 1960 Corvette was unchanged in design and looked the same as the previous year ’59 Corvette. With a record setting sales year in 1960 with 10,261 Corvettes produced, GM was convinced to give the Corvette a permanent spot in the model line-up. Engine options remained the same with the exception of special aluminum heads that were available for the fuel-injected models. Also new was the addition of a rear anti-sway bar that improved handling. |
