| She sports a 350 rebuilt engine, 411 Posi-Track rear end, completely new suspension, all new radiator system, fairly new breaks, push button start. There's a diamond plate tool box in the back. Fairly new tires, still a good amount of tread left. She needs a new wiring harness and possibly a new clutch. I'm not familiar enough with old trucks to know if this is just how this clutch operates. All other needs are cosmetic. Minor damage to passenger side door, rear bumper is bent but welded on so not easy to run to a junk yard to replace, wood in bed needs to be replaced etc. All the new stuff is what I've fixed of the previous owner's mistakes. I don't know a whole lot about the engine other then they told me it had about 2000 miles on it when they sold it to me. It was my primary vehicle for about 2 years and now it's been sitting for about 6 months because it doesn't run because of the electrical issues. I would guess-timate it has 25k-30k miles on the engine. She's a blast to drive but when gas prices sky-rocked, I couldn't afford to drive her anymore. I'm hoping she'll go to someone who has the time and money to fix her up like she ought be. Yes, I sound attached to her...so sue me =) I have all paperwork for everything I've had repaired/replaced/fixed on her. |
