DESCRIPTION
Beautiful color and outstanding condition!!!
I built this truck for my own use, so did not scrimp on parts or quality.
This unique GMC 3/4 ton long bed pickup is a complete frame off rebuild. The rebuild included:
All cab, door, fender, running boards and hood parts were cleaned in a total immersion acid bath to completely remove all rust and old paint from cracks and crevices. This process takes up to 2 weeks to clean down to bare metal.
All paint is PPG epoxy applied by certified painter.
The blue (1967 Chevelle blue) paint is accentuated by the use of Prismatique in the clear coat. The effect is a subtle, but remarkable sparkling effect in the sun and/or moon light.
All bed metal is new including front, sides and tail gate with a hickory wood bed highlighted with polished stainless steel bed strips.
Rear fenders are new fiberglass.
Bumpers are new chrome. Headlight rings, exterior and interior mirrors are new chrome.
All auto glass, window and door seals are new.
New door hardware including hinges, window regulators, door handles, locks and armrests.
New king pins.
The power plant is a 235 CI from a 1960-62 Chevrolet truck engine per the block casting numbers. The engine upgrade included:
New spark plug wires, points, plugs, etc.
Carburetor has been rebuilt.
New fuel pump and all new gas lines. Fuel tank has been flushed and cleaned.
New radiator core and overflow tank added.
The transmission is a heavy duty 4 speed floor shift with the original enclosed torque tube driveline.
Electrical upgrades included:
All new wiring harness and wires.
6 volt system converted to 12 volt.
Turn signals added.
New rear tail light assemblies.
Electric windshield wiper conversion.
Brake system upgrades included:
Dual chamber master cylinder.
All brake lines are new steel and all hoses new rubber.
All wheel cylinders are new.
All new Huck style brake linings with all drums turned.
Wheel and tire upgrades include:
Wheels are 8 bolt, 16 inch aluminum Ultra Brand wheels with Dayton P245/75R16 tires that have the same profile as the original 17 inch split rim wheels/tires.
