In June of 1947 GM came out with it is \"Advance Design\" truck which would go on for another 7 years. This half year model would have the transmission that came on the early models, 3-speed thru the floor, hand brake that extended thru the floor next to the trans. shifter and the gas tank would be located under the floor of the bed. \"ONE OF A KIND CHEVROLET TRUCK\"
