1930 Cadillac 353 series sedan. Restoration has been started on this rare Sedan. The V8 engine was rebuilt by the ''Cadillac Guru'', Mr Ernie Baker, who rebuilt the engine by replaced the pistons, rings, oil pump, connecting rods and chain among other parts and the engine now has approx. 4 hours running time since completed. The engine has a modified Chevy distributor and a modified intake manifold that utilizes a Chevrolet Rochester 2G carburetor. The originals are available. The body was replaced back on the frame as the chassis has been repainted, new brakes installed along with many new bearings and seals. The body is in very good condition with only a couple of rust spots. The car is originally from Iowa and now has a Minnesota title and assigned VIN number. There are boxes of extra and original parts included with the car and it is complete except for the taillights and one wheel for the dual side mounts. The car starts, runs and drives so one of the major parts of the restoration has been completed. A true classic!
